RN to BS Program Application

You must meet all of the following criteria in order to access the program application. If you are unable to meet all of these requirements, please contact Mike Simpson, Nursing Student Services Coordinator, at michael.simpson@bemidjistate.edu

  • Admitted to Bemidji State University
  • Reside in Minnesota, North Dakota, or Wisconsin
  • Graduate of, or in the process of completing an ADN or diploma nursing program
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Hold, or in the process of earning, an unencumbered RN license

    PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED TO BEMIDJI STATE UNIVERSITY. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR APPLICATION, PLEASE CONTACT THE CENTER FOR EXTENDED LEARNING AT cel@bemidjistate.edu
  • Your BSU Student ID is emailed to you upon successfully submitting the BSU undergraduate application.
  • Please provide the number at which you prefer to be reached.
  • RN License Information

  • If you currently hold an unencumbered RN license, please provide the following information:
    State of IssueLicense NumberExpiration Date
  • If you do not currently hold your RN license, please enter your anticipated date of licensure. Proof of an unencumbered license must be provided prior to starting program courses.
  • Additional Information

    Indicate whether you intend to be full or part time in the program. Please note that the full-time schedule is only recommend if you are planning to work 20 hours a week or less.
  • Optional Questions

    The following confidential information is used for federal grant reporting purposes only. Answering the following questions will not impact your admission to Bemidji State University's nursing program.
