Curriculum Planning

Students may apply for the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program during their sophomore year of college, after completing approximately 30 semester credits and all eleven goal areas of liberal education.  Prospective students will complete the social work pre-admission and supporting foundation courses as part of their liberal education coursework.  Students must complete SOWK prefix courses with a grade of C or higher, earn a social work GPA of 2.5 or higher, and an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher to be admitted to the program.
