Classes in the School of Technology, Art and Design started up again on January 14th. There are many things happening this spring and we can’t wait to share them with you.
The first big thing happening this semester is the trip that the Design Guild takes to Vegas to see EXHIBITORLIVE, the Professional Development Conference for Trade Show and Corporate Event Marketing. This trip exposes our students to the exhibit design industry, and several of the students show their portfolios at this event. The second event is our annual TAD Talks event that is made possible by TAD professors and students. Professionals from the design, exhibit, and technology industry’s come and share their stories, tips, and advice to students and the Bemidji community. Finally, our last event of the year is our Portfolio Review, which is held every spring before graduation. This event showcases graduating seniors from the TAD program. These seniors get up in front of a panel of judges and guests to present their portfolios.
