The Midwinter Interlude is a yearly gallery event held in the Ramsey Gallery at Bemidji State University. Starting back in 2010, this year marks the 10th anniversary. This gallery showcases artwork and projects that BSU faculty and staff have done in their spare time.
There are 24 exhibitors this year, more than any year so far, including three musical acts. The art being shown includes paintings, drawings, quilts, mosaics, ceramics, photography, and so much more.
The Midwinter Interlude is being held in the Ramsey Gallery located in the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex until May 10, 2019. The purpose of this event is to “highlight the talents of the BSU campus community, encourage participation in the arts and create a sense of community” said Deb Kreuger, an Office and Administrative Assistant in the School of Technology, Art, and Design and an Organizer for the Midwinter Interlude.
This event is free and open to the public. The Ramsey Gallery is open Monday through Sunday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
