A single major program doesn’t always adequately address students’ academic interests. Therefore, this degree offers highly-motivated students the unique opportunity to work with a three-person Faculty Committee to design a customized academic pathway that aligns with his or her personal and professional interest related to the courses offered in The TAD School. This emphasis is structured to align with the Minnesota Transfer Pathway and other colleges outside the Minnesota State system for articulation agreements.

The Creativity & Innovation Academic Program Will Require

  1. TAD Committee – Students must put together a 3 person committee made up of 3 faculty members from The School of Technology, Art & Design. One of the committee members must be the student’s academic advisor.
  2. Degree Proposal – Students will work with his or her advisor to create a curriculum proposal. This proposal must include,
    1. Career Goals
    2. Academic Goals
    3. List of coursework that correlates with career goals and academic goals.
  3. Approval – The proposal must be approved by the TAD Committee.
