The two Bemidji State University permanent Art Department Collections feature several diverse and unique offerings of prints and ceramics.

Two BSU alumnae created the collections, which are continually augmented.

The Margaret H. Harlow Ceramics Collection features works of both national and international artists, and includes work by Peter Voulkas and BSU alumnus Jeff Oestreich.

The Lillie M. Kleven Print Collection includes prints that illustrate a wide variety of techniques and feature works by artists Gary Mortenson and Adolph Dehn.

Both collections also feature BSU student purchase selections. Paintings, drawings, weavings and sculptures round out the contemporary portion of the permanent collections.

A third Collection at BSU is the Lanham Collection, which is especially rich in Ojibwe items, including beadwork, leather, ceremonial wear and weavings.
