Applications for the School of Graduate Studies (Hard Copy)

Form 1-Application for Admission to Graduate Studies

Master of Science (MS), Master of Arts (MA), and Applied Masters: Students applying for the purpose of pursuing course work that will potentially result in the awarding of a Master's degree.

Graduate Special Student

Students pursuing graduate course work without a planned objective, but with the goal of personal and/or professional enrichment (i.e. licensure).

This application permits students to take courses for an indefinite period of time, provided that a 3.00 ("B") grade point average is maintained.

Graduate Status Reactivation

Graduate students who have attended BSU previously, but have been inactive for over a year and wish to return to their previous graduate status should complete this form to ensure that the School of Graduate Studies obtains the most current program and contact information.
Students wishing to enter a different program or student status than their previous admission should complete the HARD COPY of Form 1-Application for Admission to Graduate Studies (above). Please note: If a student's file has been purged, we may require additional paperwork for our records.
STUDENTS WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY APPLIED AT THE GRADUATE LEVEL WILL NOT BE CHARGED A NEW APPLICATION FEE.

International Students

Campus Programs - International students looking at a campus program must complete the International studies application form, located at the International Program Center website.

Online Programs - International students looking at an online program must complete the domestic application process using the Form 1-Application for Admission to Graduate Studies.

International Transcripts - International students must provide evidence of a bachelor's or equivalent degree before they will be considered for acceptance into a graduate degree program. Evidence of this degree must be prepared by a reputable, professional credential evaluator. BSU will accept evaluations prepared by any National Association of Credentials Evaluation Services (http://www.naces.org/members.htm) member.
