Course Description: This course is divided into three five week sections. In section one the student is introduced to higher level excel functions that will be used to develop a recommendation to a fictional pension investing committee that is attempting to select a new publicly traded stock. The excel product will then be transformed into a serious of written business communications in the second five weeks. And concludes in a five week session on verbal communication in which the student presents to the committee made up of all three instructors.

Lecture/ assignment pedagogy will include traditional lectures, film clips, group work, evidence-based learning techniques (active learning), and oral history.
