ACADEMICS OVERVIEW

With small class sizes, faculty become mentors to their students.

BSU attracts faculty from around the world who enjoy teaching and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students. On average, BSU classes have a ratio of 23:1, which is considerably lower than many similar-sized schools. Our faculty enjoy the opportunity to take a stronger role in their students' academic careers, providing mentorship and guidance.

"As soon as I started taking classes in my major, if I ever had a doubt before, which I didn't, I knew then that I wanted to be a teacher. The professors cared about me and cared about my dream, my personal dream. They helped me every day to work toward that goal, so that one day I will be a teacher, and I will make a difference in the lives of kids."- Erin Sullivan, BSU Student
