2) Paying for College
If you have not completed your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), please consider doing so in order to maximize funding available and eliminate delays in receiving financial aid for(Priority Deadline: January 1st). BSU is committed to helping you find a way to pay for college, whether it is through financial aid, scholarships or employment options. If you require any assistance, don’t hesitate to contact the Financial Aid office (218-755-2034).
If you haven’t submitted all of your scholarship applications yet, get a head start on the school year by downloading the necessary forms here.
3) Activate your StarID Account
StarID is used to log in to the campus wireless networks, all campus computers, ITS services and applications (including MyBSU) and student email.
4) Housing On Campus
Submitting your Housing Application early will ensure you get the residence hall you want. We’ll help orient you to the Residential Life process. All new, incoming freshmen students are required to live on-campus for their first year at Bemidji State (some exceptions apply). 5) Immunization Form
Please click the following link to submit your Immunization Form. Documentation needed varies based on the state your graduated high school from and the year that you graduated.
6) Final High School & College Transcripts
Make sure to contact your high school and submit your final high school transcript (after graduation). The final high school transcript is required for continued enrollment at BSU. In addition, if you have are a Transfer Student or have any college level courses, please make sure that all final official transcripts are sent to Bemidji State University.
7) Sexual Violence Prevention Training (SVPT)
The SVPT program provides critical information about responsible behaviors and decision-making regarding non-discrimination, dating and relationships violence, and harassment. You will receive an email at the beginning of August with instructions on how to complete this training. All students must complete this online program early in their first semester to be eligible to enroll in future semesters.
