Cost shouldn’t prevent you from getting a first-class education. That’s why ALL international students pay the same tuition as students from Minnesota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are no special requirements to receive and maintain this tuition benefit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

International Student Costs 2025-2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Approximate costs for two semesters<\/strong> as a full-time international student residing on campus in a double-occupancy room with a meal plan. New international students are required to live in on-campus housing for one year unless over the age of 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The above figures are meant to serve as guidelines and are subject to change. All dollar ($) amounts are in USD. In order to obtain a student visa, you must prove that you will be financially supported fully for your entire course of study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scholarship Opportunities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Over $3,000 in scholarships are available to international students. Apply through the Foundation Scholarship Application<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students who are returning to BSU for a second degree are not eligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

International students are not eligible to receive federal or state loans and grants. At this time, international students are not eligible for automatic “New Freshman Scholarships.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On-Campus Employment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Limited on-campus employment opportunities are available and are not guaranteed. International students must be registered full time to be eligible to apply after arrival on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
