The 2017-18 academic year is here! Reilly and her teammates helped hundreds of students move into their new homes in BSU residence halls on Aug. 18 to kick off a full slate of Orientation and Welcome Week activities.

201708—Welcome Breakfast–Welcome Back

President Hensrud officially launched the 2017-18 academic year with her annual Welcome Breakfast presentation to faculty, staff and administrators on Aug. 15.


Thor and Mitch Swanson were featured in the documentary film “Brothers”, which was a student entry in BSU’s 2017 Headwaters Film Festival.

Robby Troje and Luke Gillund will represent Bemidji State in the championship. They qualified after a second-place finish in the Bassmaster Wild Card Event.


Brothers Mitch and Thor Swanson will represent BSU at the national championship after a 13th-place finish in a 131-team field at the Lake of the Ozarks Midwest Regional.


The nation’s finest college fishing teams will descend on Bemidji, Aug. 10-12, for the Bassmaster College Series National Championship. Bemidji State will host the 90 teams angling for the title on Lake Bemidji.
