April 22: Cloth Masks Available for Pick-Up on April 23-24

The following message was sent to BSU/NTC employees on April 22.

Hello BSU & NTC Employees – Our cloth masks have arrived!

We will be offering 1 – 2 cloth masks per employee.  If you currently have access cloth masks – please consider continuing to use your own as we will distribute any extra masks to our students who remain on campus.

Masks will be handed out via a drive-up option in Bangsberg Parking Lot at the following times:

  • Thursday April 23: 3:30-5:30pm
  • Friday April 24: 9:30am – 1:30pm

Just drive-up – collect your masks – say a quick hello – and be on your way. We hope to make this as easy as possible for all of you!  Plus – it’s a great excuse to get out of the house and go for a drive.  Bring your spouse, your dog or your kiddos.  Or come alone and enjoy that peace and quiet only a vehicle can offer.

To help support our broader community, we will also be collecting donations for the Bemidji Community Food Shelf.  Food, personal items and cash donations are welcome!

More information on what is needed can be found here:  https://bcfsmn.org/donate/

Attached is additional information on how to use cloth masks.  Our masks were made locally by Anderson Fabrics and must be washed before use.

Masks have already been distributed to employees working regularly on campus through the help of their supervisors.

THANK YOU all for your quick response.  We hope to see you at our Cloth Mask Pick-up!

For those of you who may be unable to come at the designated times or live a great distance from campus – please contact me directly via email.  If possible, we will find another way to distribute.
