As a member of the Beltrami COVID-19 Response/Recovery team, I am assisting with an effort to recruit volunteers in the event we need additional health care and health care related workers (nursing, CNAs, behavioral health, social workers as well as those who are central to maintaining a facility – maintenance, housekeeping, etc.).
More than 200 students will receive certificates, diplomas and degrees from Northwest Technical College this year.
More than 1,000 students will receive undergraduate and graduate degrees from Bemidji State University on Friday, May 8. While a formal commencement ceremony will be planned for a later date due to the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual celebrations will acknowledge graduates and mark the end of the Spring 2020 semester.
Bemidji State University and Northwest Technical College are preparing to receive funding made available to them by the federal government as part of the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund, part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act stimulus package.
