Assistant Professor of Business Administration

Biography

Xi Shan is an Operations Management scholar with expertise in Supply Chain Management and its intersection with Economics, employing methods like Game Theory and Mechanism Design, Contract Theory, and Artificial Intelligence. My academic journey began with a double Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Journalism from Peking University in Beijing, China. Later, I earned my Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas, where my research was recognized with a first-place award in the Three Minute Dissertation Competition. Furthermore, my experience as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Boston College, Carroll School of Management, has enriched my understanding of Operational Management.
