Library Acquires Book Scanner

We’d like to let you know about a new face-up book scanner in the A. C. Clark Library that is available for faculty, staff, students, and the general public.  The scanner is easy to use, and is specifically designed for seamless scanning of books.  It produces excellent quality images in color or black & white, and in various output formats (PDF, searchable PDF, JPEG, even audio). You can save to a USB drive or send images to an email account.

A big thank you goes out to Digital Library Systems Group – DLSG which provided the scanner at no charge, courtesy of a giveaway at a recent professional library conference attended by one of our librarians, Pat Conely.

Stop by and try it!
