BEMIDJI, Minn. (March 20, 2012) — The Bemidji State University softball team wrapped up its spring break trip to Clermont, Fla. for an 11-game tournament. The Beavers played against 10 teams and ended with a 4-7 mark.

Bemidji State has surpassed its win total from the 2011 season, in which they went 5-7. The team is now 6-9 on the season.

Courtney Anderson (Sr., RHP, Virginia, Minn.) has been named Beaver Pride Athlete of the Week after her performance during the Clermont trip.

The Beavers next competition will be March 24 when they host Southwest Minnesota State University in a conference doubleheader. BSU will then play two more home doubleheaders against Minnesota State University, Mankato on March 25 and University of Minnesota, Crookston March 28.
