Fall tutors at BSU Math Help Center

Eleven Bemidji State University students are working in the university’s Math Help Center this semester.

The Math Help Center is a free tutoring center located in Bemidji State’s Hagg-Sauer Hall. Student workers there are dedicated to helping other students build skills in mathematics.

In addition to tutoring, Math Help Center students also work in math and computer science workrooms and labs, assist professors and help organize the annual Northern Minnesota Mathematics Contest.

Courses covered in tutoring sessions include intermediate algebra through calculus I, as well as applied statistics.

Math Help Center hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays.
