Faculty show in Talley Gallery re-opening Aug. 28

An exhibition of work featuring faculty from Bemidji State University’s Department of Technology, Art and Design will re-open in BSU’s Talley Gallery Aug. 28.

An opening reception for the show will be held from noon-3 p.m. on Aug. 29. The show will be open through Sept. 20.

The exhibition features works by nine faculty members:
• Drew Graham, assistant professor of technology, art and design; digital and interactive design;
• Tim Brockman, associate professor of technology, art and design; woodworking;
• Dennis Peterson, adjunct faculty in technology, art and design; silverpoint drawing;
• Natalia Himmirska, associate professor of technology, art and design; painting and drawing;
• Barbara Hanus, assistant professor of technology, art and design; painting;
• Butch Holden, professor of technology, art and design; ceramics;
• David Towley, instructor of technology, art and design; woodworking;
• Bonnie Higgins, professor of technology, art and design; photography;
• Steve Sundahl, associate professor of technology, art and design; design.

Each faculty member has a long and impressive history in his or her chosen media. In addition to their teaching, each faculty member maintains an active role in the community by showing their work, providing workshops and actively participating in professional organizations promoting the arts and design.

Located in Bensen Hall room 212 on the campus of Bemidji State University, the Talley Gallery is barrier-free and open at no charge to the public. All activities in the Talley Gallery are supported by the University’s Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee and Bemidji State University’s Department of Visual Arts.
