BSU lands on CollegeAtlas.org Affordability A-List

Bemidji State University has been named one of the nation’s most-affordable universities for out-of-state students in a survey done by CollegeAtlas.org.

the-a-list-affordableBemidji State ranked 28th on the school’s out-of-state tuition A-List. That list ranks schools based on what CollegeAtlas considered to be a “realistic look at what a typical student will pay for their education” at a particular institution, based on the organization’s examination of various publicly available data.

College Atlas’ rankings of more than 1,300 colleges and universities recognize institutions that do the most to provide students with an opportunity to earn an affordable, high-quality education.

The A-List uses U.S. News Best College Rankings to assess the academic standing of each institution. It then factors in tuition costs and acceptance rates to create a list of universities that balance three factors important to students — affordability, accessibility and academic quality.
