SBDC to host So You Want to Start Your Own Business?

BEMIDJI, Minn. – A presentation covering the basic steps to starting one’s own business, coordinated by the Northwest Regional Small Business Center (SBDC), will be held Thursday, March 6, in Bemidji, Minn.

The presentation will be given by Director of the SBDC Jorge Prince from 6-9 p.m. at the Bemidji State University Center for Research and Innovation, an off-campus facility located at 3801 Bemidji Ave. N.

The three-hour session will focus on feasibility, business plan basics, basic legal requirements and understanding the various aspects of financing a business.

The registration fee for the class is $40 per person or $60 for partners, which includes all materials, and is payable at the door.

The Small Business Development Center is housed at the Bemidji State University Center for Research and Innovation, an off-campus facility located at 3801 Bemidji Ave. North.
