The Bemidji State University Varsity Singers will perform a spring concert on Sunday, April 14. The choir is composed of 36 BSU students ranging from freshmen to seniors and represents 15 different majors. The Varsity Singers is a non-audition choir and all students are encouraged to join.<\/p>\n
The singers will perform a variety of compositions from baroque to swing to Doo Wop and liturgical. The concert will also feature three ensemble pieces. The varsity women will perform “Lollipop” and “Turn Around” as an ensemble piece, while the men will perform “Goodnight Sweetheart.”<\/p>\n
The performance will begin at 3 p.m. in the Thompson Recital Hall on the Bemidji State campus. It is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
