Please plan your end-of-year expenses accordingly.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Purchases requiring a formal sealed bid or RFP process: April 16, 2014<\/li>\n<li>Purchases above $10,000: &nbsp;May 22, 2014<\/li>\n<li>Purchases $10,000 or less: June 12, 2014<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The purchasing system will be shut down for FY2014 at 4 p.m. on June 12, 2014.&nbsp;It will be restarted for FY2015 around 9 a.m. on July 1. A message will be sent once it is up and ready.<\/p>\n<p>Please do not sign in to PCS before the message comes out, because you will still be signed in to the prior fiscal year.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>P-CARD USE REMINDER FOR FISCAL YEAR END<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>June 20 through July 7, p-card usage should be limited to EMERGENCIES ONLY.&nbsp;Normal use of p-cards may resume July 8, 2014, for FY15.<\/p>\n<p>This is due to the p-card statement end date of July 6 falling on Sunday, which causes transactions for the statement period to be posted through July 7.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACCOUNTING REMINDER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Invoices for accounts beginning with a 334 or 9 which are not paid by June 30, 2014, will be paid from FY2015 funds.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your attention to these important deadlines.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, contact&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bemidjistate.edu\/directory\/facstaff\/blindell\">Belinda Lindell<\/a>, director of procurement &amp; logistics.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please be aware that purchasing deadlines for fiscal year 2014 are approaching.
