Five professors at Bemidji State University have received tenure, and eight more have received promotions to kick off the 2014-15 academic year.<\/p>\n

\n• Dr. Tiffany Hommes, assistant professor of nursing
\n• Dr. Carolyn Townsend, associate professor of nursing
\n• Mr. Peter McDonnell, assistant professor and systems\/distance librarian, library & Library Services<\/p>\n

Promotions Granted<\/strong>
\n• Dr. Virgil Bakken, Department of Mass Communications, promoted from associate to full professor.
\n• Dr. Valica Boudry, Department of Mass Communications, promoted from assistant to associate professor.
