BEMIDJI, Minn.<\/strong> — Bemidji State University’s Outdoor Program Center will offer a pair of  skiing-related activites next week, including shuttles to Bemidji’s Buena Vista Ski Area and Giants Ridge Golf and Ski Resort and an introduction to cross-country skiing.<\/p>\n

• Cross country ski clinic
\nThe OPC will be offering a free introduction to cross-country skiing on Thursday, Feb. 19, from 3-5 p.m. at the OPC Boathouse in Diamond Point Park. All equipment will be provided.<\/p>\n

• Buena Vista ski area shuttle
\nThe OPC will be offering a shuttle to Bemidji’s Buena Vista Ski Area on Friday, Feb. 20. The free shuttle will depart from the Gillett Recreation and Fitness Center on the Bemidji State campus at 5 p.m. and return at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n

• Giants Ridge ski shuttle
\nThe OPC will be offering a shuttle to the Giants Ridge ski resort in Biwabik, Minn., on Saturday, Feb. 21. The shuttle for an all-day ski trip will cost $15, and those interested are encouraged to register in advance. Departure and return times are available by contacting the OPC.<\/p>\n

Those interested in participating in the cross-country ski clinic or the skiing shuttles are encouraged to call the OPC to confirm the start times for the events in advance.<\/p>\n
