{"id":19082,"date":"2014-11-05T21:33:50","date_gmt":"2014-11-06T03:33:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bemidjistate.edu\/news\/?p=19082"},"modified":"2015-01-14T15:11:24","modified_gmt":"2015-01-14T21:11:24","slug":"mnscu-charting-the-future-gallery-walk-tour-hits-bsu-on-nov-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bemidjistate.edu\/news\/2014\/11\/05\/mnscu-charting-the-future-gallery-walk-tour-hits-bsu-on-nov-7\/","title":{"rendered":"MnSCU Charting the Future Gallery Walk tour hits BSU on Nov. 7"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system&rsquo;s&nbsp;Gallery Walk tour will visit Bemidji State University on Friday, Nov. 7.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Gallery Walk, an open house-style event intended to promote feedback on the progress of the system&rsquo;s Charting the Future initiative, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Crying Wolf Room of BSU&rsquo;s lower Hobson Memorial Union.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The exhibition will illustrate what has been achieved so far&nbsp;by the four Charting the Future implementation teams that began their work in the spring:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&bull;&nbsp;Diversity<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&bull;&nbsp;Student Success<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&bull;&nbsp;Comprehensive&nbsp;Workplace Solutions<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&bull; System Incentives and Rewards<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Gallery Walk is an open house-style event&nbsp;for everyone at Bemidji State&nbsp;to share insights, concerns and ideas.&nbsp;Representatives from the system office and members of each of the four implementation teams will be on hand to provide feedback on the work done by each group and to listen to questions, concerns and feedback from those in attendance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">For a preview of what will be displayed during the event,&nbsp;there is an online version of the Gallery Walk&nbsp;at the system&rsquo;s&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.chartingthefuturemnscu.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span class=\"s2\">Charting the Future blog<\/span><i title=\"External link\" class=\"bsu-icon bsu-icon-external-link small ms-1\"><\/i><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">More than 1,600 people have visited CTF Gallery Walks since the system-wide tour began Oct. 16 at Pine Technical College in Pine City.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>About Bemidji State University<\/b> Bemidji State University, located in northern Minnesota&rsquo;s lake district, occupies a wooded campus along the shore of Lake Bemidji. Enrolling more than 5,000 students, the University offers more than 50 undergraduate majors and nine graduate programs encompassing arts, sciences and select professional programs.
