The Bemidji State University Wind Ensemble will hold a fall concert on Sunday, Nov. 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

The concert begins at 3:00 p.m. in the Main Theatre of Bemidji State’s Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens; BSU students are admitted free with a valid ID.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ensemble will perform six pieces including “Allerseelen” by Richard Strauss and “Four Dances from West Side Story” by Leonard Bernstein.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Wind Ensemble is open to all BSU students. Of the 36 student performers, 11 are non-music majors. In addition to regularly programmed campus concerts, the Wind Ensemble hosts the Northern Minnesota Honor Band, an annual band festival for many of Minnesota’s top high school musicians.<\/span><\/p>\n
