{"id":19707,"date":"2014-12-17T11:16:21","date_gmt":"2014-12-17T17:16:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bemidjistate.edu\/news\/?p=19707"},"modified":"2014-12-17T11:16:21","modified_gmt":"2014-12-17T17:16:21","slug":"47-students-receive-alumni-relative-scholarships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bemidjistate.edu\/news\/2014\/12\/17\/47-students-receive-alumni-relative-scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"47 Students Receive Alumni Relative Scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bemidji State University awarded $41,000 in Alumni Relative Scholarships from the BSU Foundation for the 2014-15 academic year, part of more than $1.26 million in total scholarships that will be distributed to students by the foundation.<\/p>\n<p>New and continuing students who are relatives of active BSU alumni are eligible to apply for Alumni Relative Scholarships, which range between $750-$1,000 per year.<\/p>\n<p>The foundation scholarship program is just one part of Bemidji State&rsquo;s commitment to offer a variety of scholarship opportunities to as many students as possible. In total, BSU will present more than $2.3 million in academic, talent and leadership scholarships this year. Awards are made possible through donations to BSU Alumni &amp; Foundation and other organizations that specify funds for student scholarships.
