Neilson Foundation<i title=\"External link\" class=\"bsu-icon bsu-icon-external-link small ms-1\"><\/i><\/a> to host interns as part of the 2015 Neilson Foundation Internship program.<\/p>\n<p>The program, which is entering its fourth year, offer financial incentives to businesses who hire BSU and Northwest Technical College students for paid internships. Funding for the internships is split equally, with 50 percent of an intern&rsquo;s hourly compensation paid by the foundation, up to a maximum of $2,500. Neilson Foundation<i title=\"External link\" class=\"bsu-icon bsu-icon-external-link small ms-1\"><\/i><\/a> supports community development projects by making grants to programs and projects that improve the lives of the area&rsquo;s children, adults and senior citizens. The foundation concentrates its giving program in the city of Bemidji and the surrounding area.
