If she’s not paying close attention to where she’s going, flies too fast or too low and — splat! — she flies right into a pole, a tree or a window. Splat Witches, evidence of the witches deaths, were visible throughout the BSU campus Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n This year, there are nine Splat Witch displays located throughout the BSU campus for the annual event.<\/span><\/p>\n • “Drop Into Oz” located near the Hobson Memorial Union desk.<\/span><\/p>\n • “Charlotte’s Revenge” located outside of Sattgast Hall near Lake Bemidji.<\/span><\/p>\n • “Broomhilda” located in the trees between Benson Hall and the American Indian Resource Center.<\/span><\/p>\n • “Queen V” located in the main lobby on Deputy Hall.<\/span><\/p>\n • “Wicked Windy” located on the lower level of the Hobson Memorial Union near the Sustainability Office.<\/span><\/p>\n • “The Bucky Witch Project” located in the main entrance of Memorial Hall.<\/span><\/p>\n • “Information Overload” located on the Hobson Memorial Union Information Desk.<\/span><\/p>\n • “Ellie Mint” located in the general chemistry lab, Sattgast Hall 370.<\/span><\/p>\n • “Hell Baby on Board” located in front of Deputy Hall.<\/span><\/p>\n The Splat Witch competition was open to BSU students, staff and faculty and was hosted by BSU Dining Services and Housing and Residence Life.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" BEMIDJI—On rainy, foggy days, much like Monday, flying witches often experience low visibility.
