{"id":28290,"date":"2017-04-13T14:24:09","date_gmt":"2017-04-13T19:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bemidjistate.edu\/news\/?p=28290"},"modified":"2017-05-10T14:29:15","modified_gmt":"2017-05-10T19:29:15","slug":"gallery-international-student-organizations-48th-annual-festival-of-nations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bemidjistate.edu\/news\/2017\/04\/13\/gallery-international-student-organizations-48th-annual-festival-of-nations\/","title":{"rendered":"Gallery: International Student Organization&#8217;s 48th Annual Festival of Nations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bemidji State University&nbsp;celebrated the traditions and cultures of its international students April 11 at the 48th Annual Festival of Nations.<\/p>\n<p>The menu of food items included an Italian sausage soup; African chicken soup; di san xian, a vegetarian stir-fry from China; nasi lemak, a coconut rice from Malaysia; and bridadeiro, a chocolate bonbon from Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>A&nbsp;flag processional and welcome opened the festival, followed by various performances throughout the evening.
