Dr. Eric Forsyth, professor of human performance, sport and health, at Bemidji State University, co-wrote a peer-reviewed article entitled “Parents and Interscholastic Sport: A Mix-Method Approach to Identify Salient Issues” that has been published in “Managing Sport and Leisure,” an international journal.<\/p>\n
Dr. Eric Forsyth holds a doctorate in sport administration which he received from the University of New Mexico. He is currently teaching sports management courses and supervising practicum and field experiences here at BSU.<\/p>\n
Dr. Forsyth is a founding member of the interscholastic athletic administration graduate curriculum standards endorsed by the National Association for Sport & Physical Education and the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA). Dr. Forsyth also received a distinction as a certified master athletic administrator through the NIAAA certification program.<\/p>\n
