{"id":40915,"date":"2020-08-12T10:04:58","date_gmt":"2020-08-12T15:04:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bemidjistate.edu\/news\/?p=40915"},"modified":"2020-08-13T10:56:38","modified_gmt":"2020-08-13T15:56:38","slug":"bemidji-state-universitys-forsyth-co-authors-interscholastic-athletic-papers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bemidjistate.edu\/news\/2020\/08\/12\/bemidji-state-universitys-forsyth-co-authors-interscholastic-athletic-papers\/","title":{"rendered":"Bemidji State University\u2019s Forsyth Co-Authors Interscholastic Athletic Papers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bemidji State University&rsquo;s Dr. Eric Forsyth, professor of human performance, sport and health, recently co-authored multiple interscholastic athletic articles.<\/p>\n<p>Among his published articles are &ldquo;A Mixed-Methods Approach to Identifying Decision-Making Issues Pertinent in Interscholastic Athletics&rdquo; and &ldquo;A Mixed-Methods Approach to Identifying Administration Issues Pertinent in Interscholastic Athletics.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, he wrote &ldquo;Contemporary Issues within High School Sports: Coaches &amp; Officials&rdquo;, which is the second of a four-part series and is the result of a national research study evaluating pertinent issues in interscholastic sports.<\/p>\n<p>Forsyth holds a doctorate in sport administration from the University of New Mexico and is a founding member of the interscholastic athletic administration graduate curriculum standards endorsed by the National Association for Sport &amp; Physical Education and the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.
