(Oct. 28, 2011) &mdash; The Rose Ensemble of Saint Paul will perform at Bemidji State University on Thursday, Nov. 3.<\/p>\n<p>The show will begin at 7 p.m. in the Thompson Recital Hall in Bemidji State&rsquo;s Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex.&nbsp; Tickets can be purchased for $12.<\/p>\n<p>The ensemble will feature &ldquo;Songs of Temperance and Temptation: 100 Years of Restraint and Revelry in Minnesota.&rdquo;&nbsp; Prohibition will leap onto the stage as the show takes a look at the history and humor behind Minnesota&rsquo;s long-standing love\/hate relationship with the saloon.&nbsp; Music will consist of 1920s jazz, Victorian waltzes, ragtime, and gospel.<\/p>\n<p>With special guest, Dan Chouinard, the ensemble will highlight anti-prohibition songs and include dancing, projections of historical photos, and narration from F.
