(Nov. 18, 2011) &mdash; The Northwest Minnesota Small Business Development Center (NWSBDC), which is hosted by Bemidji State University, will be offering free workshops on how to start a business in Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>Workshops will be offered from 1-4 p.m. on Nov. 22 and again on Dec. 1, 8, and 15.&nbsp; Register on the web at www.NwSBDC.com. Pre-registration is preferred.<\/p>\n<p>The three-hour classes provide information on starting a business, financing, feasibility of an idea, business plan essentials, and legal requirements for a business start-up. Participants will receive &ldquo;A Guide to Starting a Business in Minnesota,&rdquo; a reference book for entrepreneurs, published by &ldquo;Positively Minnesota&rdquo; and other valuable resources to aid in your business endeavor.<\/p>\n<p>The NWSBDC is one of nine regional offices throughout the Minnesota to provide free, confidential, one-on-one, business consulting services to existing and start-up businesses on a variety of business topics.
