Thirteen Bemidji State University students are working in BSU’s Math Help Center during the 2012-13 school year.<\/p>\n
The Math Help Center is a free tutoring center located in Bemidji State’s Hagg Sauer Hall. Student workers there are dedicated to helping other students build skills in mathematics.<\/p>\n
In addition to tutoring, Math Help Center students also work in math and computer science workrooms and labs, assist professors and help organize the annual Northern Minnesota Mathematics Contest.<\/p>\n
Courses covered in tutoring sessions include Intermediate Algebra through Calculus II, as well as Applied Statistics.<\/p>\n
Math Help Center hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays.<\/p>\n
