The Bemidji State University Student Association Student Senate is the official voice of students at the university. Student Senate represents the student alliance including all levels of administration, faculty and staff.<\/p>\n
Student Senate promotes the student role at Bemidji State University and to work with the University administration in the development of campus policies that affect all students.<\/p>\n
Student Senate includes four main committees including Student Affairs, University Affairs, the Minnesota State University Association and the Student Activity Fund Allocation Committee. These committees focus on issues directly affecting students and student organizations and on other issues on and around campus. These committees provide intellectual, social, cultural and economic development to all students.<\/p>\n
Involvement in the Student Senate offers students an opportunity to develop leadership skills and gain experience interacting with administrators as well as state and federal lawmakers.<\/p>\n
