Adobe Presenter 10 Tutorial on Lynda.com

By Brian Jambor

Anastasia McCune presents Up and Running with Adobe Presenter 10.

UnknownWhat is Adobe Presenter?

Adobe Presenter is a plug-in for PowerPoint that is gaining popularity on campus. Basically it adds a new tab, or ribbon, into the PowerPoint interface that you are familiar with to convert your PowerPoint slides to engaging eLearning content.

Below is the link to the full course. Keep in mind, not everything in the training relates to how Presenter files are handled at BSU. Follow the audio link to quickly learn how to narrate slides using Presenter.

3/17 Academic Tech Talk: D2L Grader App

Academic Tech-Talks. …(or words with nerds)

Tuesday March 17th , 1:00-2:00 pm
Library 236A (next to eLearning)

This session we will explore the Free D2L Assignment Grader app for iPad with:

Beth Jensen: BSU, eLearning
Dr. Mary Fairbanks: BSU, Nursing
Dr. Layna Cole: MSUM, School of Teaching & Learning

The D2L Assignment Grader for iPad helps make grading Dropbox assignments easier. While connected to the internet, you download submitted assignments to your iPad. Once downloaded, you can grade the assignments offline and still have access to rubrics, comments and personalized feedback. As soon as you re-connect to the internet, you synchronize the feedback back to D2L.

In Summary, with the app you can:

Grade assignments right from your iPad.
Draw, markup, highlight, underline, and add comments in a submitted PDF.
Upload grades and rubrics to D2L.
Go offline and synchronize your work later.

Come and share your thoughts or experiences around this topic.

Please RSVP to bjambor@bemidjistate.edu if possible as space is limited.
Light refreshments will be served!
