Managing your site’s navigation

Tags:

Managing your sites navigation is as easy as parent, child, exclude, ordering and link to.

Our WordPress theme creates the navigation for your site based on the parent/child relationship and page order.

Parent Page

A parent page is a page that has children.  If a page has no parent, it will be a top level page in your sites main navigation.  If a parent page is a child itself, in the navigation it will be nested under its parent, with its children nested underneath itself.

Child Page

A child page is a page that has a parent.  In the navigation, the page will appear nested below the parent when your viewing the parent page or any of its children.

Excluding/Hiding a Page

Excluding a page from the main navigation will keep a page from being including in the sites navigation.  The page will still be accessible via its url.
