Skype for Business: Finding and Launching
Skype for Business, a component of Office 2016, is BSU’s & NTC’s officially supported teleconferencing and chat tool.
Skype for Business (not to be confused with commercial Skype) comes installed on all BSU and NTC staff, faculty, and lab computers. Students and employees can download the app for personal and mobile devices from Office 365. Mac users, make sure you are running the latest version for your system.
Finding and launching the app.
On a Windows machine, click the Start Button and type, “Skype for Business.”
Click the search result to launch it.
Find and launch Skype for Business from the system dock, or
Use spotlight to search and launch Skype for Business.
The applications look a little different depending on the platform.
