Skype for Business: Starting a Conversation

Skype for Business is BSU’s and NTC’s officially supported chat and audio/video conferencing tool.

Using Skype for Business to start a chat or conference call is easy!  Launch the application to get started.

On MacOS, go to the Contacts tab, select or search for the contact you wish to communicate with, then select one of the actions listed in the contact card (high-lighted here).

On Windows client, hover over the contact you wish to communicate with, then select an the action to begin.
