Information Technology Services offers a variety of support options for phones including training, trouble shooting, programming, and other assistance.

Our self-service Knowledge Base contains a number of articles ranging from “How to Report Your Move for 911” to “How to Program a Speed Dial on Your Phone.”  This should be your first stop for assistance.  If you can’t find what you are looking for, submit an online help desk ticket.

Office Phones

The majority of faculty and staff at Bemidji State University use Mitel Voice over IP (VoIP) phones.

To obtain a new or replacement phone or to report an issue, submit an online help desk ticket.

You will also notice emergency phones located across campus.  Please notify Public Safety at 755-3888 or submit an online help desk ticket if one of these phones appear to be out of service.

Mobile Devices

BSU can provide a mobile device for approved faculty and staff.  To request a mobile device, please follow the following steps.

  1. Complete the Mobile Device Annual Authorization form.
  2. Once you have received your mobile device, please complete the Acknowledgement of Receipt of Mobile Device form.
