Housing & Residential Life Senator Seats

Under the new administration this year, Student Senate is expanding its reach as the official voice of the students.

For the first time in recent years, Student Senate made major reforms to the structure of the organization to include three brand new student senator seats specifically dedicated to the residential life at BSU. Student Senate believes that students serving as Housing and Residential Life senators are going to bring direct representation from each of the halls and will help address more student concerns in an effective and efficient way.

This will allow students to bring concerns related to their on-campus living situation directly to the governing body which serves as the official voice of students.

Moreover, it is expected to help bridge the gap between the student body, the student government and the administration, as well as serve as a stepping stone towards a more unified BSU in the near future.

Senator Connor Newby encourages all students living in the residential halls to apply for the Housing and Residential Life senator positions. Click here to apply or pick up a physical copy from the Student Senate office located in HMU #252.
