Alternate Formats for Textbooks

Students with a documented disability who have a need for textbooks or other assigned reading materials in an alternate format must request the accommodation prior to the start up of the term or during the first two weeks.

It is the responsibility of the student to get copies of the syllabus and all  assigned reading prior to requesting the alternate formatted text.

Students using this accommodation are strongly encouraged to utilize other organizations specializing in assistive technology to help support their educational needs.  Organizations such as Learning Ally and State Services for the Blind may be able to assist students in addition to the services they receive at BSU.
