Faculty and staff can use Handshake to post and manage on-campus student employment opportunities at BSU.<\/p>\n

Get Started<\/h2>\n

1. Join the On-Campus Student Employment Account<\/h3>\n

Before posting a position, join the BSU & NTC On-Campus Student Employment<\/strong> account in Handshake.<\/p>\n

Request a Handshake Invitation<\/strong>
Ready to post an on-campus student employment position? Request a Handshake invitation from Career Advancement. Invitation links are valid for 48 hours.<\/em><\/p>\n

After accepting the invitation, you will be able to post and manage on-campus student employment positions.<\/p>\n

2. Post Your Position<\/h3>\n

After joining the account:<\/p>\n

  1. Log in to Handshake.<\/li>\n
  2. Select Jobs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Select Create Job.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Enter your position information.<\/li>\n
  5. If you would like to include an application with your job posting, you can duplicate this Microsoft Form: Pre-Professional On-Campus Student Employment Application<\/i><\/a>.<\/li>\n
  6. Choose School, be sure to choose Bemidji State University\/Northwest Technical College.<\/li>\n
  7. Submit your posting.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once your position is posted, you can use Handshake to:<\/p>\n

    • Review student applications<\/li>\n
    • Manage applicants<\/li>\n
    • Communicate with candidates<\/li>\n
    • Close or renew your job posting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
