Bangsberg Memorial Scholarship<\/h5>\n<p><strong>Amount:<\/strong> Up to $800<br \/>\n<strong>Deadline:<\/strong> Feb. 15 each year<br \/>\n<strong>Criteria:<\/strong> Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Grad student participating in an Education Abroad Program.\u00a0 Preference to student with emphasis in Asian Studies who meets all the other award criteria, but if no such student applies, the award shall then be made available to students who participate in an education abroad experience and who meet other established criteria, even if they are not focused on Asian studies.\u00a0 Minimum GPA of 2.5<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Marshall China Studies <\/strong>Scholarship<\/h5>\n<p><strong>Amount:<\/strong> Up to $600<br \/>\n<strong>Deadline:<\/strong> Feb. 15 each year<br \/>\n<strong>Criteria:<\/strong> Study of China and Chinese people.<\/p>\n<h5>Richard and Evelyn Krummel Memorial Scholarship<\/h5>\n<p><strong>Amount:<\/strong> Up to $1000<br \/>\n<strong>Deadline:<\/strong> Feb. 15 each year<br \/>\n<strong>Criteria: <\/strong>Participant in the Education Abroad Program and studying in a non-English speaking country. Successfully completed one course in the Global Perspective area of the liberal arts requirement. Program participants pursue graduate study, conduct research, or teach English abroad.<\/p>\n<p>During their grants, Fulbrighters will meet, work, live with and learn from the people of the host country, sharing daily experiences.\u00a0 The program facilitates cultural exchange through direct interaction on an individual basis in the classroom, field, home, and in routine tasks, allowing the grantee to gain an appreciation of others\u2019 viewpoints and beliefs, the way they do things, and the way they think.
