About the Department<\/h2>\n

The Department of Public Safety is a division of Bemidji State University’s Office of Finance and Administration. This department is responsible for all campus security<\/a>, environmental health & safety<\/a> and parking enforcement<\/a> at both BSU and Northwest Technical College (NTC).<\/p>\n

The President of BSU and NTC has granted the Department of Public Safety the authority to take appropriate actions necessary to maintain a safe and secure environment on all property owned, leased or occupied by the university and college.<\/p>\n
