Downloadable checklist<\/em><\/a><\/p>\nA proper check-out consists of:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Cleaning your room<\/strong>\n
\n- Dust and wipe down surfaces & drawers<\/li>\n
- Clean your floor\n
\n- Vacuum if you have carpet<\/li>\n
- Sweep and mop if you do not have carpet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- Clean under desk and radiator (Oak & Tamarack Rooms)<\/em><\/li>\n
- Clean any shared common areas (Linden Suites)<\/em><\/li>\n
- Move furniture back to its original place<\/li>\n
- Remove personal items off walls & doors and remove any tape residue<\/li>\n
- Make sure all window panes and screens are in place and closed<\/li>\n
- Take out the garbage to the dumpster<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- Removing ALL your belongings<\/strong>\n
\n- Be sure to double-check drawers, shelves and behind your room door<\/li>\n
- Even if you are in the same room in the future, you cannot<\/span> <\/strong>store your belongs in your room until then or over the summer (see Pine Storage Lockers below)<\/em><\/li>\n
- If you have a weapon storage locker, please empty your locker and turn in your locker key to the Housing & Residential Life Office in Walnut Hall. Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. If you check out of your locker outside of our office hours, please turn in your locker key with your room key at check out<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- Completing check-out paperwork with your RA\/PAA<\/strong>\n
\n- Sign up for a time to check out of your room with your RA\/PAA (Must sign up at least 24 hours in advance)<\/em><\/li>\n
- Check-out paperwork includes\n
\n- Completing the check-out portion of your Room Inventory<\/li>\n
- Returning your room key<\/li>\n
- Submitting your forwarding address information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
