Move-In Day for the Fall 2026 Semester is Thursday, August 20! Halls will open at 9:00 AM. Moving in can be a hectic day full of different emotions, new sights and people, but it doesn’t have to be a mess. There will be staff on hand to help with your move-in.<\/p>\n

Check in at your assigned building.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Watch for “unloading zone” signs, and respect the 20-minute time limit in these spaces.<\/p>\n

Some carts are available on campus, but if they’re all gone when you arrive, we encourage you to bring your own, along with any personal belongings that will help you feel comfortable as you settle into your room.<\/p>\n

Elevators will be in use; please be patient while you wait for your turn.<\/p>\n

Remember to include some familiar comforts from home, like that teddy bear you’ve had since you were six!<\/p>\n

Most of all, have fun and enjoy meeting your new neighbors!<\/p>\n

Early Arrivals<\/h2>\n

While Move-In Day for the spring semester is Thursday, August 20, we can accommodate arrivals as early as Sunday, August 16, with advance notice. There is a nightly charge for this option. Charges range from approximately $28 to $35\/night, depending on your room type. Early arrivals can be requested through your housing application or by emailing our office (reslife@bemidjistate.edu<\/a>) at least 48 hours in advance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
