D. Concentration(s)

Students completing A and C above have effectively formed a drawing concentration. An additional concentration should be taken in graphic design, printmaking, painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry/metals, art history, Native American art, or a two-dimensional or three-dimensional cumulative concentration. An Art Museum Experience (0-1 credits) is also required. At least 6 credits of the 8 total credits must be at the 3000 level or higher.

The following is a list of suggested Art Major, B.S. (Teacher Licensure) courses arranged by year. This schedule is intended to help students plan their courses in an orderly fashion; however, these are only suggestions and this schedule is flexible.

Note: With proper student planning and in consultation with the academic advisor a student may complete his or her academic degree in 128 semester credits. It is possible, in some circumstances, that courses in a student's Liberal Education program may be used in his or her academic major.
